I am so excited it is winter and that Christmas is near. I grew up with a mom who always put out fun and beautiful decorations. It always made the house feel a certain way. So I am doing the same. Oh, and my "wish" list is so long this year, stay tuned for it...

Goodbye fall Hello winter...

For the first time we cut down our own Christmas tree. It was really fun. Markie was freezing his little body off, but he loved it. We went up to the Santa Cruz mountains to find the perfect tree, but when we got home it looked like a sad little Charlie Brown tree. PS I think that cutting down trees makes husbands feel very manly! DeLoy wants everyone to know "it only took me like 2.9 seconds to saw through it!"

I thought it was just your new born that you just stare at for hours and hours. Not true. I love this little guy so much. His face is my favorite thing in the entire world. He is so pretty. The best is getting him out of bed in the morning. Mm, mm, mm it's a good thing.

Well, we had our first Halloween Party of the year and it was fantastic! We had soo much fun and Becky made some amazing goodies (of course)! Markie smudged his little nose, but he kept his costume and head piece on the whole night...amazing! Truely a miracle.

This is Markie's best bud Benjamen Shipley. They are 6 months apart. They are both so handsome. Me and Becky get attention every where we go, thanks to the little guys. I think Markie is ready for a sibling. He loves little kids. At church today he followed the primary kids around in the hallway.

Thinking out loud...

So with a beautiful and uplifting conference(awesome), a friend passing, being a semi new mom(it is wonderful!), a new calling(so excited), almost a two yr anniversary, and being a mormon woman I have just been going through one of those contemplating and meditation times. I love when this happends to me because it helps me improve and grow, but man am I emotional! My heart has been so full. Gratitude, humbling, happiness, desire are just some of the feelings. Maybe it's the wonderful holidays coming that get me this way.(I can't wait! I love the holidays) Who know's? I am just so blessed. I have such a "beautiful life".(Don't mind if I steal the title) I pulled out my P. blessing last night and read through it a few times. The gospel is so perfect. I am setting some goals to help me be a better person. I figure if I write down that I am trying to improve for all to see...there's no backing out. LOL. I hope you all are doing well. One tiny,little,adorable,tooth...

I am so excited about his new tooth, but I really miss that gummy smile! He has only bitten my finger badly enough I had to scream. It made me nervous for my girls (if you know what I mean). I will let you know if they go to war. He he he! He has figured out that there is a foreign object in his fun hole that he puts everything in, so to feel his tooth he sucks his lips in like an old man and makes these funny faces. I LOVE IT! DeLoy has school off for a week! HURRAY!!!!! We want to fill our week with fun things to do. So if any of you have the "Know" about stuff here in SJ or up north let me know. I'm Back...

Hi everyone! I am sorry I have not posted forever! I was in Las Vegas for 3 weeks. That is a long time! The first week I babysat my sisters kids while everyone was in DC. Then it was my sisters wedding. Mind you...my LITTLE sisters wedding. I am so happy for her. But if any of you guys have a little sister maybe you feel like this too. It was an emotional thing seeing your little tyke all grown up. I guess I am a little possesive. Her wedding was amazingly beautiful. And she looked like a super model! I hate her. I must say the picture of her and I is quite nice,he he! Evem Markie matched the groomsmen in his pink shirt. Me and my two sisters had fun getting all dressed up and spending time together. It was also the first time all 5 siblings and their spouses have been in the temple together, it was awesome.

I just wanted to have a little shout out for Brittany. I know everyone just loves her, and thinks the same as I do. I was so sad the two weeks before you moved. I kept telling DeLoy how horrible it was that you were moving. And then to actually say goodbye...not so fun. I want you to know that you are one of the sweetest people I have ever known. You are such an amazing woman. I could go on and on with all of the great things about you. But, really I just want you to know that we love you and are thinking about you. You have fun in Texas, ya hear! If you turn white trash and hick on us, I don't know if we can be friends. He he!

My How You've Grown!

Sorry, I got carried away with Markie's baby pictures. But, today is his 6th month birthday. I wanted to show my family how much he has grown. Looking back is kind of bitter sweet. All stages are fun, but there is something about that brand new baby. Markie and I went to his 6th month check up today. Something that should take 30 minutes, of course took 3 hours. So fun. It was exactly how I wanted to spend my day. Hacking, sneezing kids around mine. Anyways, Markie started out at 7.7 and 20 inches long. Now he weighs 18.12 and is 28 inches long! That is the 75th percentile for weight and height. He is sitting up, babbling, holding toys, eating baby food, and drinking juice.
