A Moment

We had one of those special moments today.
The ones only mothers and their children get to have together.

I put G down for his nap while M was going to have some quiet play time.
I was gonna do a little Oprah watching.
(even though I usually get annoyed if she says anything about her political or moral views...like where the family man with gay tendencies owes it to himself to leave his family, and owes nothing to his family to try to work it out...WHATEVER Oprah!! That is just what we need more selfish people who put work, big houses, cars, playing, and career before their children.)

Anyways...G just would not fall asleep so I gave in and got him out.
I wrapped him in his blanky and sat on the couch.
He just layed with his little head on my chest.
Then to make it better, M came and cuddled under my other arm.

My heart just swelled with love.
The most wonderful love ever.
My heart literally hurt it was so full.

They softly said hi back and forth to each other.
So sweet.
It only lasted a moment and then they ran off to play.

I LOVE being a mommy.
"Stay at home mom" is the best title ever.

So precious! Those moments are the ones that make these hard days a little more do-able.

I had one of those moments the other day. I fell asleep on the love sac and Austen woke up from his nap early crying. He came in and snuggled up with me and went back to sleep. Not long after that Mike got Kolton who was crying in his crib, and brought him to me, and amazingly enough...he fell asleep too! So there the three of us are napping and snuggling together. It was one of those once in a life time moments. I loved it.
