Rico Suave!

My little sister Ashley is getting married to her missionary. This is him holding Markie. And if he can put my baby to sleep...then he's alright in my book. The date is set for September16 in the Las Vegas temple. His name is Rico Jensen. He is really just a good guy with a great personality. He is perfect for her. They are a beautiful couple. I am so happy for both of them. They have already decided to move out to San Jose for school, and they are going to get prego right away, so that Markie can have a friend. Well....I haven't told them that that's what they have decided.

I know, I know! You were splendidly surprised to see that my blog doesn't look like a jumbled mess. Looks hot, huh? It only took me 2 entire days to fix it. I swear it was not my fault it looked so bad. I have come to the conclusion that DeLoy sabotaged it. He is jealous that when he gets home I am always blogging. When I should be making dinner, I am blogging,when it is 1 in the morning, I am blogging, when I should take a shower, I am blogging. I guess that makes me an official blog queen. That's right Hilary Erickson, you heard me...I AM the queen. Just kidding I sound crazy. We all know Hilary's blog is amazing.

When we were at the beach we had to make the kitchen sink our tub. It just reminds you how little and cute they really are. I wish I could fit in a sink! I love when he makes funny facials like these. It makes me wonder what he's thinking.

Fun in the sun!

We spent two weeks in Vegas with my family. Then headed down to Newport Beach for a week! We went sailing, deep sea fishing, parasailing, built castles, and layed in the sun. It was so fun to see everyone. It is the best week of the year! Markie didn't like the sand too much, but I still managed to get a tan! Here he is in his cool shades and sun hat. We decided to make the drive home fun. We took highway 1, and made pit stops. We saw the Herst castle, the elephent seals, and Monterey. Good times.

Three's Company

Hey everyone! This is our first blog and we are so excited. Hopefully this will be an easy way for all our family and friends to stay close and keep in touch. As for us we are doing fabulous out here in the sunny state of California. DeLoy is so busy getting A's in chiropractic school. And I am staying busy being at home with my little one. I have made tons of friends with the sweetest women ever. Markie and I fill our week with one hectic schedule, let me tell you. Warm days at the pool, long walks, tummy time, singing songs, and taking care of the house. Markie turned 4 months on Friday the second. He has mastered the skill of grabbing anything possible and shoving it into his mouth. He can also roll both ways (amazing), and his mother's favorite...Laughing! When DeLoy makes him laugh I just melt.
