My Crazy Little Dude!

Markie turned three years old 4 days after Graham turned one. I can't believe he is so old. But then I can't believe I have only had him for 36 months. It seems like he has always been with me.

We had a big party that I will put pictures of later. But I wanted to post Markie's little (BIG) personality. Since he was a little baby he loves to make people (and himself) laugh. He really is soo funny and such a goof ball.

Whenever I pull out the camera he either does some crazy pose, goofy face, puts his fingers in his mouth, pretends like he is pointing at something, uses a prop, or.....makes the most serious face EVER. I thought at 18 months old it was a phase but he never has quit. The poses and faces just get more funny. I know this is a ton of pics, but it is proof that he does this constantly.

Markie,
You have made me grow so much since you were born. I really have learned so much from you. I have loved being your mommy everyday. You are always so sweet to every child you play with and person you know. I never have to worry about you hitting or being mean. You are always kind and Christlike worrying about everyone else. You love to make everyone laugh.

You are so observant and smart. You have always been a good listener and deep thinker. You always think before you do, even when you were little. I hope you always keep this habit.

You are not a busy body. You could sit and color, look at pictures, listen to music, or read for hours. As long as there is someone doing it with you. You don't loke to be alone. You love people. You love for mommy and daddy to teach you new things.

I could literally stare at your little face all day long. You are such a handsome little boy. You have the most beautiful green eyes, perfect blonde hair, and tan skin. Your smile can light up a whole room. I love your fingers to your toes. The sound of your voice and your laugh.

I love that you are such a boy. You love sports and super heros, you love action, and guns and swords, cars, and monsters. But you are also so sensitive. You already have so much faith and knowledge.

It has been such a joy watching you grow and learn over these 3 years. I can't wait to see how you change this year. And I hope most of all that I can be the best mom I can be.

I love ya bud!!! -Mommy

Grahams First Birthday

For your first birthday we just got the family together at Grandmas house and had cake and cheesburgers (at Markies request). You were the spotlight and loved your new presents.
Graham, we can't believe you are already one year old. Time went by so fast. Probably because you are such an easy baby. You are calm and mild tempered. You are easily pleased. You will sit in your high chair or crib forever and just play. But you still are a huge goof ball and you are getting to be a little dramatic. That's why we call you our 'Big Faker'. You are our Baby Graham, Grahamie, Grahammers, Teddy Graham, Granimals, and Chicken Little.
You have big green eyes like your mommy and the longest curly eyelashes. Your eyes are always sparkly. You always have your toungue out and your eyebrows furrowed. You love to play with your big brother. You and your Daddy are the bestest friends. You are so skinny but so strong.

Nothing is too tall or hard for you to climb. When i hear you screaming I find you on top of something. You often push the stool from the bathroom out of the room and into another to climb up on something. The stairs were no big deal for you. Up and down you go all day following Markie. You want to do everything he does. Brush teeth, ride bikes, play ball, play action figures.

You have nine little teeth that you grind together making me squirm. You say Hi Daddy, Mama, Hi Doggy, Ba ba, and Uh oh. You love to make the noises for cars, animals, and monsters.

You love babies and little children. You love pointing to all the pages when I read books to you.

You can shake what your mama gave ya. Any music we turn on you just dance your little heart out. Even though you can walk you know you can crawl even faster. People always laugh when they see you dart across the floor.

You will only cuddle with Uncle Rico and random strangers not your Mommy and Daddy. You love sleeping in your crib. I love that you get jealous if Daddy, Markie, or another baby is holding me. But my most favorite of all is watching you with your brother. You guys love eachother so much. I always turn around to see your little hand holding his across the back seat. You are so much the same. Sweet and kind. I hope you will always stay close to the spirit and to your family. I love you Grahamers.

Conference Weekend

I LOVE conference weekend!

Even when I was little I remember being so excited for it. But NO ONE gets more excited than my husband. It is like DisneyLand for him.

We don't have TV so we went to the Sinquefields on Sat and Sun (poor them) and watched all 4 sessions together. Taylor was so kind and made us breakfast, lunch, and dinner booth days! In between the we would all play outside in their new amazing backyard. Thanks guys!!!

The kids had to stay in the room and play quietly (as possible) during the sessions. I was really surprised at how well they did. Bailey liked to point out that the old men looked like those "slobber dogs". Ha ha. Because of their wrinkles.

Once in a while they would ask if they could leave just "really fast for something." This is what they came back with...underwear on their heads and socks on their hands??
Graham and Cannon were so good they just played on the floor or slept. But Graham did LOVE the "doggies!"

Every talk was so good. It is such a good reminder and boost to renew goals and start living each day better.

Some of the topics that stuck out to me:
-It is not just the big main things, it is all the little things
-Not wanting worldly things, they don't matter at all
-Always being Christ like
-Helping others always, even in little ways
-Being frugle
-Home is the most important(LOVED this one)
-Read the scriptures daily
-Temple attendance, and really learning
-Not complaining, be grateful
-The pride cycle is repeating
-Obey and listen to church leaders

I mostly just thought about what percent of a member am I?
Am I always 100% with everything?
Or do I push aside the little things, like wanting nice, or worldly things?
When I go to the temple do I 'Really' just lose myself when I am there?
Is our home a place where the Savior could be present for every joke, every conversation?

I am so grateful for a living prophet and church leaders to help direct us. I am grateful I was able to watch conference and feel the spirit.

Mark and Graham I hope that you will always love to hear the Prophet and other leaders speak. I hope that you will remember your home growing up as a place of love, peace, the spirit, kindness, fun, laughter, and much learning.

Random Question?

Question for you all.....

So, while DeLoy is in the process of opening up his clinic I was thinking of being a nanny for some extra mula. It would be at my house with my 2 kids there as well.

So I am wondering how much I should charge per hour?
And if it should be per child?(they are two seperate things right?!)

And does anyone know of anyone in Vegas who needs a nanny and can actually pay what it is worth?
